MIGRANT
PROGRAM UPDATE: This summer Viola Martinez Migrant
Coordinator worked with Art Martinez with PED on coming up with a new COE for
Migrant registration. She has also
made a Migrant Brochure and Flyer that have been distributed throughout the
school districts and Businesses. Now
that school is in session Viola has been busy seeing families and being a
liaison between the schools and
parents or guardians. Viola has also
been given a new challenge and that is to work with the REC Director Janet
Sistrunk on publishing this quarterly newsletter to be placed on the PVREC#8
website and distributed to all districts.
She really has enjoyed this new challenge, it gives her a chance to
keep up with everything that goes on at PVREC#8. |
