School-based Diagnostic Services

Working collaboratively with students, parents, staff and other assessment personnel, the educational diagnostician’s role is to evaluate and diagnose a student’s individual needs using current scientifically-research based measures and following best practices. Through comprehensive psycho-educational testing, the diagnostician is able to identify the student’s academic strengths and weaknesses, which help the student’s referral committee make the best educational placement and programming decisions.
